Circle photos start with a 1:1 ratio size attribute. Photo capture quality and cropping correctness are key, so the square photo is clearly displayed in the circle.  Regardless of the photo size, the cropped photo should be 75% face, with no cutoff heads, chins, or ears. A quality captured badge photo is a security feature!

Thick color photo borders are great for color-coding, along with large color bars that use badge logic to print based on data. Do not color code with photo backdrops.
