The eXpress badging Minimum Order Quantity Rollout

eXpress badging is implementing a new order process to replace small batch orders (between 1-9 badges) with our prepaid badging model. In turn, this will save your organization money and decrease the amount of time it takes to get you your badges!

eXpress badging will institute a minimum order quantity of 10 prepaid badging credits on December 1st, 2024. You’re receiving this email because your organization currently (or has in the past) utilized our small batch ordering process. In an effort to increase efficiency and decrease the amount of time it takes to complete your orders, we are moving towards a prepaid badging model only.

What does this mean for my organization?

  • You can still request your badges one (or however many) at a time as needed, we are just requiring you to purchase a minimum of 10 upfront.
  • This only affects you if your organization currently receives and approves a proposal each time you place an order ranging between 1 to 9 badges. If you currently use our prepaid badging model, you can disregard this email.
  • Essentially, when you need to order your next batch of badges, we will send you a proposal for at least 10 badge credits, along with shipping and handling credits. In turn, you will no longer need to approve a proposal each and every time you need to place an order.
  • The more badges you prepay for upfront, the lower the unit price becomes.
  • Under this new model, when you run out of badge credits, your account representative will send another proposal for more. Once approved, they are added to your account.

How does this benefit my organization?

  • You will pay a lower price per badge since the 10-quantity price is lower than the 1-9 price. On average, 10 of our prepaid badge credits cost the same as 6 badges did under the current “pay as you go” model.
  • Our prepaid badging model works as a pool of credits that never expire and can be used as frequently or infrequently as necessary.
  • Our production department will be able to print and ship your order quicker than ever! This is because our sales team will no longer have to send a proposal for your review and approval each time you upload badges to be printed.

What if my organization doesn’t want to prepay for badge credits?

  • While we hope this does not cause any frustration, we can offer the alternative of selling you a printer, software, and consumables and providing support for you to print badges yourself on-site.

We will be sending two additional reminder emails over the next couple of weeks to remind all affected customers of these changes accordingly. Don’t hesitate to reach out to your account representative with any questions or concerns. The eXpress badging® team is here to help however we can. Our aim is to improve your organization’s experience with us in any way that we can!
