Print Location Defined
The Veonics Portal is licensed by Print Location, one location, or campus, where ID badges are generally managed by one department or team. Also, there are thresholds limitations regarding the number of active records (data and photos), users, and printers per Print Location that are monitored.
Here is an example of three Print Locations:

Upgrade Thresholds
Thresholds create limits managed within the Veonics Portal regarding databases and photo storage capacities, as hard-drive space is a commodity and the additional support required to manage additional users. eXpress badging does monitor record usage using a forgiving model. However, user thresholds and Print Locations are monitored with less forgiveness. We ask that professional courtesy be used. Temporary printer deployment or less than a month of use at offsite locations is tolerated. If printing becomes a permanent requirement, the Print Location will be added to the next renewal billing.- There are no Basic Portal Thresholds; an upgrade to Standard is required.

- Once a threshold is exceeded, eXpress badging does not automatically shut down the account. This allows for a flex-over model if maintained for less than one month.
- Example: Assuming a Basic license record threshold of 500, and after a rebadge upload of records, takes the account to 600 records. Then, upgrading to the Standard version license is unnecessary once the rebadge is completed in less than a month and enough records are deleted to bring the total active account under 500.
- Support for an existing printer not purchased from eXpress badging is an additional cost

The Veonics Portal is a 100% cloud-based badging photo identification management account hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Veonics Credential Database™ Hosted (VCDB-H)
The Veonics Portal VCDB integration services eliminate manual data entry within the customer’s Veonics Portal™ account. Its primary use is automatically importing source data (HRIS, SIS …) on a daily schedule. The VCDB-H includes our Veonics Portal™ API, which provides an almost real-time data (data= data and ID photos) integration. The Veonics Portal API provides our customers' database administrators with a set of tools to connect a customer-defined database to their cloud-based Veonics Portal account. eXpress badging’s support team will work with the customer’s System Admin to complete the connection.
A hosted VCDB-H model offers a secure file exchange process that communicates and imports customer’s source data within their Veonics Portal account. Data exchanges are run upon a user-defined schedule keeping the data current.
VCDB-H INCLUDES:

- The customer is responsible for integrating to our industry-standard API
- 25,000 Records added to Veonics Portal account
- 24 hours annually of setup, training, & tech-support
- Secured SFTP file exchange protocols manage the process
