How to process CMAC

Data Sheet edit, Photo Background removal, Load into Portal, Print with custom print settings

    • Look for the order upload post in IDME and copy into the Cust. file (Create a new folder with todays date)
    • Copy the file "Image Magick" into your new folder
    • Open the Image Magick app and hit enter on your keyboard (You will note the photo file sizes are significantly reduced after it has processed)
    • QC photos (Open a photo and next through all to ensure that backgrounds have been removed)
    • Adjust Headers on the data sheet to match the portal
    • Log in to the Veonics portal
    • Click on the Data Management tab
    • Type in CMAC in to the search bar located underneath the title "Group Name" 
      OR
    • Type (3322) in to the search bar located underneath the title "ID"
    • Cycle status to "New"
    • Import the data sheet (Sometimes they will order temp badges as well, temp badges have no photos)
    • Import the photos using the photo wizard (Use the Identification number as the identifier to match the photos)
    • Select all new records with matched photos and approve (approve all temp records as well)
    • Locate the CMAC cards in the safe and place into the K60 printer that you will use (Dots facing out towards you)
    • Print all the approved badges according to the print specifications listed in Hubspot
    • Open up the printer settings and set your print preferences
    • IMPORTANT cards will warp and also cause a adhesion issue with the lam on the back of the cards)
    • Set 'HEAT ROLLER TEMP" to "0"
    • Change "RETRANSFER SPEED FRONT & BACK" to "-1"
    • Print 5-10 test cards and make sure the lam on backside of the cards look good
    • Print the rest of the order
    • While the badges are printing open up your import sheet, add two columns titled: "RFID" + "Tracking" (Set cell format to text)
    • Save as you data sheet in the folder and title accordingly (CMAC PHOTO RFID / NON PHOTO RFID) ** Create separate RFID sheets for both Photo and Non photo badges
    • Once badges are printed, QC while slotting
    • Open up your RFID sheet and make sure that the name order matches the stack of printed cards
    • Update the RFID field for each record (This part can go fast if your record names match your stack, Simply look at the back as you flip through and make sure to note any sequence changes)
    • Spot check all your RFID numbers (Pull every 5-10th card, make sure the RFID numbers match your data sheet)
    • Package your order and weigh it
    • Open the FEDEX app or Website and fill out the shipping information accordingly
    • Print your label and copy the tracking number into both of your RFID sheets
    • Send the RFID sheets to the contacts listed in HS via Sharefile link
    • Update the count tracker in HS and create a back order ticket (select the listed contacts in the HS note to receive the auto HS order update
